REOWME – LEGAL PROTECTION PACK (2025)
1. LEGAL DISCLAIMER
ReowMe is an online marketplace platform acting only as an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. ReowMe does not own, buy, sell, inspect, certify, or guarantee any products listed by users. All items are sold directly by third-party users. All disputes, authenticity issues, damages, stolen item claims, and legal responsibilities are strictly between the buyer and seller. ReowMe’s role is only to facilitate discovery, communication, and payment processing.
2. SELLER AGREEMENT
- Seller confirms items are genuine and not counterfeit.
- Seller confirms items are not stolen and belong to them.
- All legal responsibility remains with the seller.
- ReowMe is not the seller, only the platform.
- Sellers must provide proof if requested.
- ReowMe may freeze payouts, remove listings, ban accounts, or cooperate with authorities in cases of fraud.
3. BUYER PROTECTION POLICY
ReowMe protects:
- Fake, damaged, wrong items
- Sellers who do not ship
- Sellers who block buyers
ReowMe does NOT take responsibility for:
- Authenticity of luxury items
- Condition mismatch
- Loss after delivery
- Stolen goods bought unknowingly
4. FAKE OR STOLEN ITEM POLICY
If reported:
- Fraud case is opened
- Seller payout frozen
- Seller asked for proof (invoice, serial number)
- If seller fails → refund to buyer
- Stolen item cases → details shared with police
5. ESCROW & PAYOUT TERMS
Money is released only after:
- Buyer confirmation, or
- Auto-release after a timeframe
If dispute:
- Amount on hold
- Investigation done
- ReowMe decides outcome
6. FRAUD DETECTION & MODERATION
ReowMe may review listings for:
- Suspicious pricing
- Repeated patterns
- Blurred photos
- Counterfeit appearance
Actions:
- Hide listing
- Request proof
- Block user
7. USER CONDUCT POLICY
Users cannot:
- Sell stolen goods
- Sell counterfeit items
- Misrepresent condition
- Upload copyrighted images
Violations → ban + legal compliance.
8. POLICE COMPLIANCE CLAUSE
ReowMe cooperates fully with law enforcement in cases of:
- Stolen goods
- Fraudulent transactions
- Counterfeit items
- Criminal complaints
9. RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Refunds allowed for:
- Fake items
- Wrong items
- Damaged items
- Seller did not ship
- Stolen item suspicion
No refund for:
- Change of mind
- Size issues
- Preference issues
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION SOP
Step 1 — Buyer files dispute with photos
Step 2 — Payout frozen
Step 3 — Seller must provide proof within 48 hours
Step 4 — ReowMe reviews and decides
Step 5 — Refund or payout release
11. INDEMNITY CLAUSE
Users agree to indemnify and hold ReowMe harmless from losses, damages, legal fees, or disputes arising from user-generated transactions and listings.
12. PRIVACY & DATA POLICY
ReowMe may collect:
- Phone
- KYC
- Address
- Logs
Data may be shared only with:
- Police
- Payment partners
- Logistics partners
- Fraud teams
13. TERMS & CONDITIONS SUMMARY
- ReowMe is only a platform
- Users are responsible for their transactions
- Fake or stolen items → seller liable
- Payouts require KYC
- ReowMe may ban any user violating policies
